Privacy policy

Your portrait is processed in your browser. Photo Pass does not send the selected image to its application server.

Portrait processing

The photo you choose is opened as a temporary browser object URL. Face detection, segmentation, cropping, permitted background tools, quality adjustments and file export run on your device using application code and models downloaded from Photo Pass. The portrait is not included in analytics or support requests.

The temporary image remains subject to your browser and device behavior. Closing or refreshing the page clears the active editor state. Downloaded files remain wherever you save them.

Usage information

Photo Pass creates a random browser session identifier in local storage. The application may record page path, referring page, browser user agent, approximate country supplied by the hosting network, selected service, export action and technical event metadata. This helps us understand failures and improve the tool.

We do not intentionally collect the portrait, biometric templates, precise location, microphone data or camera data. The site does not request camera, microphone or geolocation permission.

Reviews and support messages

If you voluntarily send a review or contact request, we store the rating, message, service context and reply details you provide. Do not include passport numbers, application identifiers, portraits or other sensitive documents.

Retention and requests

Operational records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, support, product measurement and legal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion through the contact form. Include enough information to locate the relevant support message, but never send identity-document images.

Service providers and changes

Hosting and database providers process limited technical data to deliver the service. Government links open external websites governed by their own policies. Material policy changes will update the effective date on this page.
