Terms of use
These terms explain the limits and responsibilities that apply when using Photo Pass.
Independent preparation tool
Photo Pass is a self-service image preparation tool. It is not a government service, professional photo studio, immigration adviser or application decision-maker. Government names and links identify requirements and do not imply endorsement.
Your responsibility
You must confirm the current requirements for your application, use a truthful and recent portrait, avoid prohibited edits, and review the exported file before submitting or printing it. The issuing authority alone decides whether a photo is accepted.
Permitted use
You may use the tool for lawful personal or organizational document-photo preparation. You may not attack the service, bypass access controls, misuse automated requests, upload unlawful material, impersonate another person or use generated output for fraud.
Availability and accuracy
We work to keep presets accurate and the tool available, but requirements, browsers and hosting systems can change. The service is provided without a blanket acceptance guarantee. If you find an error, use the corrections process.
Changes and contact
We may update the tool or these terms when requirements or operations change. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply. Questions can be submitted through Contact Photo Pass.
