How Photo Pass reviews a document-photo preset
Every indexed preset starts with an identifiable issuing-authority source. The editorial review records the physical dimensions, digital dimensions, aspect ratio, background, head placement, file format, file-size limit and editing restrictions that the source makes available. The page displays the source and the date it was checked, so users can compare the current application instructions before submitting.
A preset is a preparation aid, not an acceptance guarantee. Lighting, expression, recency, glasses, headwear, image quality and the filing channel can still affect the authority’s decision. When the authority prohibits retouching, Photo Pass disables the relevant background or enhancement tools.
