Application channels can also impose a different file limit or capture process.
What is specific to this passport?
India’s passport guidance uses an ICAO-style frontal portrait with a relatively large face area. Applicants should check whether the current application or service centre requests a digital upload, printed copies or on-site capture before relying on a prepared file.
A passport photo becomes part of a long-lived identity document. Use a recent portrait, preserve a natural likeness and check rules for expression, glasses, head coverings and children.
